On February 22^nd, Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana delivered South Africa’s annual budget speech to the country. The speech addressed several major topics, which included: new tax proposals, the social grant, the country’s current economic standing, and growth estimates. The main talking point, however, was the prevailing energy crisis.
