Throwback to conference... We recently conducted a series of roadshows across various regions in South Africa. This means we travel to several different regions and host an event in each region. Customers attend and we share updates on what’s new, what’s coming, share any changes and much more. We end the day by enjoying lunch together.
As planning commenced for the Konnect19 Customer Roadshows, a key theme was to remind our customers to stay current and to stay relevant. Business is tough and competition fierce, it is important to stay ahead of the curve. Taking in to account Gartner’s TOP 10 tech trends for 2019, we reflected back on the past year; we believe in growing our strategic solutions, with focus on digital and intelligent aspects.
To stay current, you have to be relevant. Relevancy in today’s terms means many things. This includes the need to ditch manual processes, working smarter, integrated systems and more. Having systems in place that works intelligently for you and to focus on customer service as well as other intelligent tools like mobile apps and the likes.
The KCS SA team gave detailed overviews and live demonstrations and updates of the latest roadmap features, functionalities and even new products in their offering which included developments within K8 Retailer and QCR creditors scanning via EZ-AP, Vecta, IQ Retail and inspHire.
These features demonstrate how KCS can help our customers to drive their businesses and operations forward. Amongst some of the highlights & features coming down the line are;
- Mobile Applications
- Layered Applications
- K8 Babbage continued improvements such as EZ-AP, WMS and additional functionality
Des Nangle commented “We continue to increase the breadth of solutions for our customers. One of these solutions is our new hiring product which is key in today's market. Many exciting prospects ahead.”
Delegates were updated on the changes happening in our support services through initiatives that include investing in people, becoming a global team, expansion of an extensive knowledge base and self-service options; individual scorecards if required and a defensive programming initiative which could prevent common user mistakes.
We also talked about Cloud. We have made big investments in this area that offers award-winning Pure Storage SANs and additional hosts for our VMWare cluster.
The day made for an informative session and a great opportunity to network with some of our customers. Giuseppe Martini commented, “It’s always great to see our customers. Our customer’s plans and strategies are key to us & our development strategy map, therefore we want to bring the latest innovations to the fore.”
